International British fashion brand Burberry came to Mumbai to hold a party for the fashionable. Christopher Burberry also made an appearance at the very fashionable party. Of course some of B’town’s most fashionable were out in full force; most stars opted for a Little Black Dress (LBD) with the moto of less is more. With appearances by Malaika Arora Khan, Kangna Ranaut, Dev Patel, Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta one would expect it to be a very fashionable affair but this was not always the case, click on to see which stars got it right and which unfortunately did not!
Vivek and Priyanka look great together but I am not a fan of what they are both wearing. Vivek’s jacket looks too big on him and although velvet jackets are so in at the moment that particular one does not go with those jeans. As for Priyanka, it is nice that she has opted to wear a sari, but the print on this sari is a bit too loud for this particular event! I do like her necklace though so I will let her off this time!
Preity Zinta looks chic in her fitted black dress. Preity is looking in great shape and this dress emphasis’s her great figure. I love that she has kept accessories to a minimum; less is more!
Shilpa Shetty looks great; the perfect outfit to wear to a very fashionable party. I love the colour on her it looks great, and her quirky piece of jewellery adds a bit of fun to the outfit!
I do like Sushmita Sen’s choice of maxi dress; it is right on trend and although this style does not suit everyone Sushmita certainly pulls it off! She has kept accessories to a minimum in fact there are not any and I like it, it works...less is defiantly more!
This outfit is really boring, Sussanne Roshan has opted for a plain LBD that is worn by thousands, come on Sussanne you are at Burberry’s party at least opt for something a bit more fashionable! I do like her earrings though!
I was actually shocked when I saw this. Really Malaika Arora Khan what were you thinking! Malaika is normally one of the best dressed ladies in Bollywood and it seems that she decided that she no longer wanted to get praised for her great dress sense so decided to wear this hideous outfit, word of advice Malaika next time you feel like getting on our worst dressed list please don’t do so at a international fashion house’s party!
There is something odd about this outfit on Kangna Ranaut, I think it is the hemline it is in an odd place; the dress does not look right on Kangna either. Kangna is drowned in this particular outfit and the colour does nothing for her.
Karan Johar looks like he has walked out of a D&G advert he is head to toe in D&G and Karan looks great. Maybe next time Karan you should wear the brand of the party so in this case Burberry!
Asin looks great, her choice of dress is unusual and it looks good on her, I love her accessories too!
Ayesha Takia looks great, I love the fact she has decided to wear something other than a dress and she pulls it of great. Her outfit is flattering on Ayesha and I love her statement necklace!
I do like Mugdha Godse choice of LBD. I have to say I like her red bag contrasts the black well. Mugdha is keeping with the trend of less is more when it comes to jewellery.
Vidya Malvade looks like she is going to a prom, not a fashionable party. Even if it were a prom she would still not get an award for best dressed because that colour looks horrible and the yellow bag adds to the yucky factor!
Nandita Mahtani looks like she is going on a cheap night out to a tacky club! Really Nandita you are a fashion designer please start dressing like one!
I am not too sure where to begin with Pooja Bhatt’s outfit. Is it the fabric of the bright blue dress that is worse or the fact she has paired it with work style trousers and shoes? Really what were you thinking when you paired these two pieces together!
